Using inspiration from a South African homewear product brand, design a ceramic salt and pepper shaker. Design considerations, including scale, ergonomics, form and functionality must reflect the chosen brand and its products. The design must be suitable for a one or two part plaster mould in the conventional ceramic slip casting process as well as the use of emerging technologies for mould, pattern and ceramic form creations.
At this point in my ideation process, I decided to change my concept, as the design I wanted to settle on (Concept 2) would not be realistic in the slip casting process. It was also not ergonomically practical.
